Opportunities

Machining technology

The basic techniques of machining materials processing are put into practice on our modern, powerful machinery. These techniques include the operation of conventional turning and milling machines as well as CNC technology. The content is taught independently of the type of control system used. The areas of focus are manufacturing with precision of up to +/-0.01 mm and a surface quality of Rz 3.2µm as well as work with a variety of materials. The fundamental principles, construction, use and operation of CNC machinery are also part of the training options.

Welding technology

Innovative solutions and continuously new process technologies have manifold uses in the joining and cutting stages of metal processing. In our welding workshop, using state-of-the-art machinery, we provide training on the Autogen, E- Hand, MAG and WIG welding processes. Tailored to your needs and preferences, from basic courses to qualifications, and always in accordance with the guidelines of European welding standards. On request, in cooperation with TÜV Nord, we are able to provide regular training sessions and examinations in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9606 and other regulations.

Metal technology

From the basics of materials processing to modern control engineering: practically-orientated and in-depth technical knowledge are important features of our seminars on metal technology. In our basic principles of materials processing seminar, we teach the essential manual and mechanical skills for processing metals and plastics. In further seminars on metal technology we teach the skills and techniques of sheet metal working as well as fundamental processes of form-closed and force-closed joining technology. We also offer the opportunity for familiarisation - at a theoretical and practical level - with operational sequences, assembly and disassembly procedures as well as maintenance measures on gear boxes.  In the area of hydraulics/pneumatics we provide training to teach and deepen knowledge on fluidic components and control systems as well as the electrical construction and operation of sequence controls.

Electrical engineering

Electrical engineering is an extensive field, and our range of seminars are correspondingly diverse. They include conventional controlling technology, fundamental practical techniques as well as innovative propulsion concepts and automation and regulation technology. Equipment and plants typically used in industry are also used in the training sessions. Specifically, we offer seminars on the fundamentals of programmable logic controllers, programming of complex sequence controls, project tasks in switchboard construction, protection measures in accordance with VDE as well as regulation and converter technology.
